Default Car slightly jaults/jerks when letting go of the gas

Haha, Heres ONE more problem that I have then my car should be back to running perfect.

When I am driving mainly in 1st or 2nd, and I let go of my gas my car will jault forward or jerk like I am stalling and it will kinda push me forward in my seat. I am guessing its either my right CV joint? Because its pretty much done and I am just waiting for money to come my way so I can get it replaced but I also read somewhere that it could be that the car is running rich found from some research

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">there is an abundance of unburnt fuel still in the cylinders when you let off the gas. The throttle plate closes, and much less air comes in. </TD></TR></TABLE>

if my car is running rich how would I make it less rich, since I am running a stock ECU still.

This is why I hate driving in 1st gear around parking lots because I will drive then let go of the gas to slow down and it will jault (only once) slightly rough then it will continue driving normal.

Thanks for the help!

seems to me like you already know the answer to your question. and how does running rich make your car do that. my car shoots black clouds of exhaust but i've never experienced that.. in any case can't a VAFC manage that if you wna make it more lean.

I am just trying to make sure, this has been happening since I first bought my car. I already got my left CV axle completely replaced when my clutch burnt out a month or so ago, but we didn't have enough money to replace the right side since the clutch, labor cv axle and labor totaled up to 850$. Sucked

I was thinking the same thing about the car runnning rich as well because I never have smoking puffing out my exhuast.. ever.

*edit* 20 mins of research has lead me to that my motor mounts might be done in. blah Time for new ones.

My car does this, I'm running rich and need to fix it. But when I let off the car it really jerks and is annoying as heck, Does it more than onced for me and my motor mounts are fine, so if anyone knows a fix for this that would be greatly appreciated.

... could either of you explain to me why you think your car running rich has anything to do with this problem? my lude has run rich in the past and now it's running lean but neither times has it given me any driving problems.

oh i must have read it wrong the first time. liek m2b4, i thought all sticks do it. isn't that normal? when i drive in parking lots going at real slow speeds. i just depress my clutch and slip it when i need some more speed. it never really bothers me. cv joint? why?

someone else posted basically the same symptoms on a diff thread.. im too lazy to reword it so here's what matt said about it. duno if that helps. i always thought it was normal

"It probably is the o2 sensor, check the code...with a bad o2 the car bucks and bogs down.... "

I always thought it was normal too but after doing research it could be a possible number of reasons why it could be doing it..

cv shaft play
running rich
broken motor mounts
etc

that tps sensor is a btch to adjust i might add..... i wasnt getting the right Volts at WOT when i swapped my JDM and i literally spent 6 hrs adjusting it to get the code to go away....

Yeh for me I think it was the tps code, mine was way too high and sometimes give me a cel, and when the cel came on, it stopped jerking, I assumed the ecu stopped reading from the tps so that's why it stopped jerking, but fixed the voltage issure and the jerking for the most part went away, it used to do it horribly bad, in all gears, u could just feel it alot more in the lower gears, like in first gear it felt like it was slamming on the breaks, then cruising, then braking again. And I could see the tach jump down when it jerked, for whatever reason it wouldn't rev down normally and steady.
