Default A few questions for you...

Good evening sirs
I was hoping you would be able to answer 2 questions for me. I tried searching in other forum, and talking to some people, so you guys are my proverbial last hope, for now.
1. Is there an lsd available for the new civic sedan? Quaife, or perhaps a factory honda unit?
2. With the recent numerous swaps of the ep3 hatch and removal of the k20a3 from these, there have been alot of them available, and for super, super cheap. I know its not the best the k series has to offer, but it is a bit better than the stock lump in the new sedan. And like I said they are numerous and super cheap right now. In the spirit of DOHC love, is there any swap potential for the civic sedan?
Thank you very much for your time and answers. Honda 4 life

Mike, I think he was talking about something other than the Si sedan, but I also think this is another joke thread.

Ok, so the Si comes with the LSD differential None of the other civics come with it
IE. EX, LX, DX. The new civic motor with the exception of the Si is SOHC. If you want a DOHC, you should have A. bought a SI, or B. Do a k-swap which will cost you the same. Why do you need a LSD?

But to answer your question you need to ask the guys who actually work at a honda dealership IE. TRE_ or Type X.

What do I know, I am 18 and drive a 01 LX sedan woot!

umm, i get all that ok, i was actually more curious if there was anyone out there doing this yet, or if any aftermarket parts were available as far as an lsd, and whether anyone had pondered any motor swaps for the new cars. sorry for any confusion in my question, i thought it was clear.

Hasports perhap...you might need an engine mounts in order to do a swap. Since yor car's 06 i'm sure in the future they'll have it. But not right now.
