Testing cold air intakes with no actual air being forced into the car =

A dyno can test the restriction, but the power levels will be different when actually at speed. Use yer NogGin

Here is the link, Ausmiths dynos are no longer there though.

There are 3-4+ years of info. on which intake is best. Those that never have owned a Mugen will say it is nothing but hype. I have had AEM CAI and SRI, drop in filter and the Mugen. Mugen is by far the best.

x2 ...... I too have gone from the AEM CAI/SRI (wet days) to the Mugen Intake. I noticed it not only pulled a bit harder but the power seemed alot smoother. Then again, my butt dyno may be off. I did notice though, when I pulled the AEM intake off, the metal had obviously gotten hot enough to cause a little melting on A/C line's rubber cover. Now I know for a fact that the stock intake arm doesn't get hot at all!!!

Forget the sewage piping intake. Go with Mugen.

Go with The Mugen, I have had both the AEM CAI and the Mugen.

Now that I have the Moogen, all I have to say is that my Intake worries are long behind me!
