Sell it and get an LS1. You can be in the 11's with money left over.

In the S, low 13's is going to require FI. Do they even have the reflash for 06?

you do not need FI to get low 13's...I did it with an intake and gears on my old AP1, just need to know how to drive

The car was def capable of 13.0 and possibly 12.9 with just the intake and gears. My 60ft was ok at 1.9. I know a 1.7 is doable, seen it done on a stock s2k. If I had a couple more tries, I'm sure I could pull off at least a 1.8 and that would put me at 13.1 I trapped 106. Now remember this is stock weight, nothing removed and oem s02's as tires.

I feel like I've been living under a rock. I had no idea S2000's were doing low 13's, N/A (mildly modded, at that).

I don't think you drive it enough.

And yes they have a reflash for 06. It's mostly midrange and a little top end.

No, I drove it. But I mostly auto-x'ed--no drag strips for me.

I sold the car a couple of months ago, though. Looking for an 06-07 currently.

I only went for 1 "amateur night". Made 4 passes, started at 13.9 and worked down.

Gears = Final Drive

Stock = 13.6 is the lowest I have seen, many 13.7's but it takes a very good driver to get those #'s

http://www.ricks2k.com/products/reargears.php

There is also word that the s2k uses - crap i forgot anymore - its like a mazda FD part or something - anyways same size and cheap and works. Search on s2kii for gears and you'll find the information. Or if anybody remembers....
