i have a 2000 civic si. my car idles up and down from 2000 to 3000 rpm, i got the code 14 (iac) valve. i put a new iac valve in and my car still idles up and down. when i had the new iac valve on i checked the code again and it still gave me code 14. im stumped. if anyone knows whats going on please help. thanks

 

Check your distributor and cables...and if you just changed your timing belt, make sure its not off a tooth or 2.
