i put it the motor yesterday and will start it up tomorrow hopefully...when i was taking out the motor my sensor broke and i juss remebered today that i dont have one...

 

yea it will run, but not sure if u have to plug the hole.

 

it should run if everything else is done right.......but i'm not sure about vtec .

it will run, but you'll have a check engine light.

 

depends what ecu ur using, a p28 doesnt read knock and others do.

 

im using my stock p72 one..

 

you will throw a code and it will retard your timing

 

so im better off just buying a knock

You really should get a knock sensor if you want your engine to last. Defenitly stay away from Vtec until you get it installed.

it shouldn't with proper fuel/tuning.

 

no, that sensor is there to detect if there is knock, not prevent it
