Default spark plugs

ok i know that there is a huge post about spark plugs and i searched but i need a new question answered. i called the acura dealership today and asked for the bkr7e plug and they said that they cant crossreference the ngk part number to the acura part number. so what do i ask them for? I dont know what to tell them to make sure that i get the right part number

Try an autoparts store, I don't think Acura would carry them.

go to your local parts store and not your local dealership

if its not a stock part, dealers wont carry them
and IF they do carry them, they will charge you an arm and a leg

Go to NAPA and ask them for the NGK 6097 plugs.

The dealership can't cross reference them with Acura part#, because it's not an OEM Acura part. Try NAPA, that's where I get mine from.

run the NGK BKR7E (6097), gap to 0.35

I had a tough time getting them here in canada, special order. If your stuck, you can run a NGK 6 instead of the 7 gapped the same.. My car was tuned on the 6's and it was just fine. I threw the 7's in after.
