Tryin to clock turbo but it wont budge. Need suggestions
i got this precision and im tryin to clock the turbine housing to get the the mounting bolt out but it wont budge. The housing is rusted a little bit. I lossend all the bolts and try to tap it with a hammer a lil but it still wont brake loose. I dont want to hit it any harder im scared to crack it. Any suggestions? can i spray pb blaster on it?

Yes you can spray PB on it
Definetely dont smack it to hard if its snug, dont put pressure on it for long epriods of time
Just grab the proper wrench, clamp the turbo on a flange and give the wrench a quick smack with a hammer
Ive never had a problem with any broken snug bolts doing that

put the bitch in a vice and knock it with a rubber mallot. swing away, maybe try to hit it on the flange because its the farthest from the axis of rotation and will create the most force

O you meant all the bolts are lose and the housing itself wont rotate?
expletive you can smack that thing pretty good, Id hit it flat on the flange/opening with a RUBBER MALLET ONLY and it should easily move
Unless its an SSAUTO, it aint gonna split in 1/2 on you lol

Yeah sometimes the chra is so snug in the turbine that a real hammer is needed, not just a rubber one!
The trick is to hammer the turbine off but it's important not to pound near bolts and the flat surface of the flanges or on any aluminum surface of course!
tip: let two opposite bolts partially screwed in so that the turbine housing doesn't pry and hit the wheel when it breaks loose.
happy clocking.
