Default Compression?

Hey guys what is the compression from factory on an H22A? And what would be a good compression reading on a used H22A?

I'm assuming you mean like a compression check in the cylinders?

For the most part higher numbers ~200 or so are best but the key thing is they are all similar like 200-205 for all cylinders

yep anything above 200 is good to go so 250 across all 4 is awesome

WTF?how many crank you pull?

a brand new s2000 2.2 with 11.0 compression can only do 210-215 on 7crank

Compression testing depends real strongly on cranking RPM. Also depends on the internal volume of the gauge itself. My '95 GSR had 230 or 235 with my gauge & everything. I'm sure it would be lower if cranked at slower RPM, or measured with a different gauge.

So it's kinda misleading to compare actual pressures without knowing these kinds of details.

well the compression test was done after my oil pump was rebuilt and it was after 5 crank and I was present when they did the test. And the test was performed by Driven Concepts in Tampa, Florida
