Default Jackson racing GSR kit on an LS engine?

Has anybody done it, does it fit, if not what keeps it from fitting. I figure an LS with some head work and some FI cams could benefit from the M62 blower. I was looking at the parts lists for both, and the only difference seems to be the blower and the manifold.

how hard would it be to modify a gsr sc to fit an ls? just curious.

Swap the head

Which would give you supercharged LSV

As already said the bolt pattern is different, so I don't believe you can make it work. As far as I can tell the easiest way to make it work is swap the head

i remember seeing pictures of intake manifolds that were modified to fit different bolt patterns than they were originally intended for. however, i've never seen pics of the same thing done to a sc. i was just curious if anybody's done this.

I wouldn't doubt people playing with IM, however the percentage of people on here that supercharge vs boost/NA is very small. Hope someone can answer your question.

the LS blower is smaller, m42 vs m62. if your going to modify one modify a type R blower

I recently was talking to a couple of shops about runing ht larger M62 on an nonvtec setup, I talked to ONE guy who actually setit up to run an M62,and it made an extra 3whp over when the car was using the M45 blower.

Not worth it IMHO.

YOu'd be better off to spend the money on something like an LHT intercooler...or headwork

Listen, most of this isnt worth the time and money that would need to be invested into this to get it to work. Be smart first. Get either the gsr head w/ supercharger, or keep the LS head and get an LS supercharger. Want more power? change out the pully for more boost.

Or do headwork and reground custom spec cams...maybe a B20 lower end...EMS...etc

My build is a B20z block with a P8r head
