i have 5000 to do a motor swap which motor should i go with? i wanting to get something that will ryn in the 12's

 

no basic swap will run 12s unless you're stripping the car completely, on slicks, and a great driver. you're gonna have to do some work first. i would suggest starting with a b18c1 base.

 

B18B block
87mm Goldedn eagle sleeves
95mm Eagle cranke
Decked block(to make perfect rod/storke ratio)
JE 12.5:1 pistons
Custom Crower rods
P & P b16 head
Crower Stage 3 Race core cams
Crower Valve train
and a bunch of other stuff

Im pretty sure it will cost more then 5k, but it would get you into the 12's.
