i've got that intake installed and it's running as SRI, i really don't like the fit...see below
great touch to the engine bay

however...it's a real tight fit...i couldn't even put the plastic battery holder / shelf or whatever it is, and the filter is jammed right up against the corner or the metal battery platform...

so moosehead did you just take one of the pipes off and pop the air filter on the end of the intake midpipe? does that screw with the mass air flow sensor at all? and also, do you think putting a smaller cone would help with the tight fit? nice setup tho, loving the look of the stainless steel

yeah u just don't use one of the pipes, also yes a smaller cone would definatly fix the problem. the mass air sensor fits in real nice to the new intake, no engine light codes have showed up so far *knock on wood*, and it sounds great...i've got some vids if your interested.
i know NOTHING mechanically and i did the install myself in about 2hrs, so it's a great easy upgrade

the vids would be awesome if you could put em up, im really considering getting it. it would be perfect for seattle, as it rains for pretty much half the year, but i dont want to have to keep switching between my stock airbox and cai. thanks for all ur help dude.
