well i have a d16z6 and i was wondering if i could take that vtec setup and apply it to an ls non vtec.. would that work?? it'll be a while from now since i've wrecked my ej2 so i've got time.. but help me plz

 

there really is no such thing as a "vtec setup"

go to http://www.howstuffworks.com, and search vtec. that will give you a better understanding of why your question will seem retarded to the people who've been on this board a while

just dont hook up the vtec lines.....

 

and by set up i meant.. like the solenoid and the heads and all that wiring and stuff.. would i be able to put all that into an ls motor?

no, d and b series stuff arent interchangable. the ls is a dual cam, where your d16 is a single.

 

alrite thanks.. lol.. at first i was gonna use my d16 and do a mini swap with my d15 in the ej2 i jus wrecked buh since its wrecked thats not happening anytime soon and now im trying to get my hands on an eg hatch.. and i wanted to put an ls motor into that one
