Question about 92-95 civic auto to manual swap (tranny mount related)

Default Question about 92-95 civic auto to manual swap (tranny mount related)

hello everyone.

what transmission mount will i need that will fit perfect to this swap? (aftermarket or oem (and from which car?))

somone told me that some mounts cause the tranny go lower then stock.... is it true?

... my bet is going to be on a 92-95 civic mount, both halves. the frames are the same in the manual and auto so if you have the mount for the manual trans (new oe, used, or aftermarket such as hasport) then the drivetrain will sit right

The automatic frame bracket angles upward where the manual is straight off the frame rail. I got an Innovative Mounts auto-manual conversion mount with a 60A bushing through passwordjdm.com for about $130. Hasport's auto-manual mount was a lot more expensive, but it's made of billet aluminum where the Innovative mount is made of steel. I don't know of any stock mount that would work unless you cut off the frame bracket and re-weld it in a straight position.

Order the Innovative AT-MT Mount from this link...I ordered it for my buddy and I believe they got me out for about $89.95 shipped! Cheaper than ordering it from password or anywhere else that sells it for $130...
