Default Overfuelling Failed MOT on emissions!

Hello peeps,

Got a 95 Civic SIR which has been overfuelling for quite a while. The ECU has been remapped using a zif socket and a chip with somekind of mugen map, has a supersprint decat exhaust system.

My Air/Fuel gauge stopped getting a reading from my oxygen sensor so wondered if this could be the cause of my overfuelling probs & high emissions?

Thanks

I would assume if the O2 sensor is no longer getting readings it could cause something detrimental to the car like that...use a voltmeter to check voltages comming to and going from the sensor to see if it's getting juice/sending out a reading. Remember it could just be your gauge not working too...

Thanks for the reply,

I remember checking not so long ago for a signal and it has. It's got fuel going just too much. Hoping that a new sensor while sort it out
