It's not that new, and I think the K&N intake makes just as much power of not more, and it's cheaper. The AEM and K&N would be my choice, Comptech makes good stuff, but the prices are a little hard to justify.

 

The K&N intake was released JDM only a few months ago. There are no dyno plots available for their piece. This Comptech piece has been shipping since February 10th. The AEM loses 10+ hp in the 8-9k RPM band dyno verfied on 10+ S2000's.

I have been testing the K&N CAI on my personal S2000 now for the past few months, currently I have the prototype on my car on loan from K&N R&D for the next few weeks for real world testing until the newest version of this CAi hits the market in about 5 to 7 weeks...

The problem with Comptech is that there prices are terribly inflated.
