spark plug wire location???????????

Default spark plug wire location???????????

does anyone know the order from 1-4 on the distributor on a type r for the spark plug wires, the order for cylinders?I need to make sure of this. thanks

alright which one is it because i am looking at one of old pics of the motor and it is set different than this one. On top of that, the haynes manual has it another way than both of these, I AM FREAKIN CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!! DOES ANY ONE KNOW THE CORRECT WAY??????????/

follow that pic......now the cylinder closes to the timing belt is cyl#1 the one on the side of the distribitor is cyl#4. .........so the firing order is 1-3-4-2.

distr.< 4 -3- 2 - 1 >timing belt

............... front of car ..................

i dont understand this though, than why was my car setup different and worked fine before?? if you were looking at it from the passenger side #1 would be the top right one, #2 bottom left one, #3 bottom right one, and # 4 the top left one. this would be if the cylinders started from the distributors side using 1-2-3-4, 4 being the timing belt side. why would it be different now??? the only thing different with the car is now is has a stock B20 block rather than a stock type r block.
