Car died because of rain on Sunday
Ok guys my car died on me on the street raining on Sunday an dcurrently at the shop. First of all, i gun it 4k to vtec, Cel goes on Car shuts off, I try to start but wont start, cranks, no start. So turn key off ignition and turn back on crank, car starts rpm goes to idle but immediately dies and shut off. Mechanic checked it out, my distributor is shot and water go in my damn ecu. How??/ He is drying it now, hopefully, it will be fine and trying to find obd2 gsr distributor.
I have 96 ek hatch with obd2 gsr swap bone stock btw. The weird thing car was driving normal for few hours but when i gun it pass 4k , car shuts off and does the same thing over again. No cel> Distributor is messed up. It looks like i was missing the cover for the ecu on the door. Is this cover necessary???? Cheap. I learn my lesson, I didnt know i was running no cover. Damn it sucks, stupid rain
