real honda parts are better!(in some cases)
hey all--not too long ago i posted a tech question about a heating problem my 92ex had. ran cool when moving, but heated up at idle. i replaced the radiator cap, the thermostat(stant) and even bled the air out of the system at the bleeder on the thermostat housing. none of which worked... well i have a buddy at the local honda dealer who got me to see a mechanic there for free. right of the bat he told me to replace the thermostat with the honda part, i did, and it has been working like a champ ever since. just a little FYI. ......

I guess im pretty lucky that the dealer I work at is full of mechanical genius's. There are mechanics there that have been there for 32, 23, 21, and 18 years. Not to mention we sell aftermarket stuff and install it. There is always a car getting lowered, a swap, nitrous. It must suck not having good mechanical help when u need it.
