ABS bleeding on 96 Accord
Sup guys. I need to know how to do the ABS bleeding on my 96 Accord coupe. I have 2 resevoir and it's so different from my bro's RSX. Help please!
Uhh.. I don't recall doing that to a 96, but I do remember doing it for that generation.. I believe there's a bleeder screw on the abs modulator. What I do is connect my brake fluid evacuator onto the bleeder screw. Then fill the reservoir. Remove the ABS relay and jumper two of the connections and let the abs modulator run for a few seconds, it'll make a wierd noise which means stop. Then I slowly open the bleeder screw and watch as the fluid goise in the evacuator and then close the screw. I do that a few times and it's good to go.. But I do recall that a special tool of some sort is needed, maybe it was the evacutator.. I'm not sure if it's needed, one of the guys told me I needed it because of the excessive pressure in the fluid.. But oh well, good luck, and if you hurt yourself, that's your problem..
