suspension help&!^@^*(
ok so i sold the air ride so now i am trying to decide what to do...I am ready to sell the car in the spring so i am trying not to go crazy with dumping anything into it. so i have come down to 2 choices. Springs or just a basic coilover. I was messing around with the what the stance of my car and found just about where i wanted it to be. So i am not sure a spring would get me their. I would like to have just about 1/2" of gap between the fender and top of the tire. I think that it looks nice there, nothing to slammed but not stock. What spring would benifit me the best if i was wanting to go somewhere around there. if not then i guess i would just have to go with a coilover...if that is the case what coilover would be best for resell and price..
since you seem so focused on achieving a certain ride height and not much else, i guess id recommend a some kind of adjustable spring option. although i typically will recommend just a normal spring kit with good shocks like tokico illuminas over any of the cheaper chinese made "full coilover" sh...stuff.
you could also consider ground controls with illuminas. it would be a quality set up.

If you want to go with springs, look around. There are several companies that offer springs that will drop you where you want it. OR, buy some coilovers. K-sport and Omnipower coilovers can be had under $700, and they are quality parts.
IMO, I would go with coilovers and save your oem parts from being stressed by a 2.5" drop.

thanks for the options but i am really not wanting to spend 700 dollars due to the fact that i am not going to have the car that much longer...so i guess ill look around on the site for some used stuff
used springs are fine. i wouldnt really go with used shocks tho.
especially a used set of ground controls should hold their value. they use great springs from eibach.

what kind of drop do you think i will want to go with by what i described above. i just want to have a little tiny bit of gap if you know what i mean. that way its easier on the tires as well
shrug. im not the one to ask about this.
i personally would never lower my car lower than what eibach pro kits give. i think thats perfect aesthetically and minimally impacts ever having to worry about scraping when i had them on. and they give good street performance.
right now, im on stock springs on both my crx and s2000. and like it that way. i tune my crx with swaybars and illuminas. the s2000 comes great out of the box, no need for me to mess with it (except detuning the rear swaybar one of these days).
