well i have 92 hatch si with z6 and its throwing a code now vtec spool solenoid but the thing is. i can hear vtec just fine and it seems normal but im just wondering what i can do about this. i have tried to clear the computer multiple times but it just keeps popping up any help is appreciated

sounds like you have a problem with a circuit thats tied in to the vtec solinoid, get a schematic and see what else it hooked to that circuit.

 

that would explain it. i got this ecu from a friend and its a po3 converted to p28 and reflashed so i figured why not ill see what it does and some sketchey shop around here did the conversion and im sure they fubard it up so i can have a friend look over everything and re do what needs to be done.
