try getting some aftermarket 15s so you have some clearance to get a big brake kit if youre looking for good braking power..

are the calipers for del sol vtec different than the si's? would they bolt right up?

OP, be nice to RARE_EG2. You should appologize for being rude.....you have much to learn from him, sir.
Anyways, yes the del sol VTEC brakes will bolt right up in the brackets, unlike if you were doing a Legend brake conversion. Get Hawk HPS pads with brembo blanks. You should be happy with that.

i know who rare eg2 his car is amazing so im not doubt what he knows but he wasnt answering my question lol
i saw h-tech has a dealer selling brembo blanks and hawk pads as a combo but i didnt know that the del sol vtec calipers are actually bigger... i heard i could also do a integra RS brake master cylinder is that right?

make sure it doesnt rub on the fenders tho........the master cylinder on the del sol VTEC is also bigger. Just get the whole braking system off a GSR or Del Sol VTEC with the combo i told you about. It works great and won't break the bank.

the car still weighs the same, you dont need more braking power just because you make more hp...
anyways...
If I read correctly, you have an si model, so you should have 10" rotors, and the same caliper mounts as any integra 94+ or civic ex/si.
Just bolt on a set of integra calipers (gsr isnt special)...theyre not quite the same as del sol vtec (i beleive the teg calipers are larger)
Better pads, better tires will get you better braking than just changing parts.
Teg and sol vtec calipers will go on, as well as a teg 15/16 or 1" master cylinder and b.booster
If you want more info, please search, this has been covered....many, many times.

are the calipers for del sol vtec different than the si's? would they bolt right up?</TD></TR></TABLE>RARE_EG2 is actually right, you know. You will be able to run GSR/Del Sol VTEC brakes underneath those blades...AND THAT'S ABOUT IT.
If you really want some stopping power, quit being stubborn and go with a 15" wheel so you can have more clearance for some bigger brakes. OEM is nice and all, but it doesn't compare to an aftermarket performance brakekit.

This makes no sense at all.
More horsepower = more speed at the end of a straight with means you need more brakes to slow you down/prevent fade
As stated before del Sol VTEC/GSR brake size is the biggest you can get with out changing rims.
Brembo Blanks or CrossDrilled/Slotted, up to you.
EBC Green stuff or Hawk pads
SS Lines
High temp Brake fluid

In that case keep your stock brakes and get good pads and SS lines. You wont notice much of a difference going to a bigger rotor.
