1. What do I need to install my Alpine Head unit in place of my OEM head unit. Do I need a Kit? or do i just take the thing apart and then install as usual.. any tips, hints, or pics would be really appreciated.

2. I'm throwing a CEL, I dont know what the code is, and I dont know how to check it. I knew how to check the code in my 1992 Civic.. but this is an OBD2 car so im not sure as to how to go and check it (i know that Advance auto has the free code readers.. but the guy that worked there had no idea and neither do I)

Just to give you an idea of the symptoms, the car will shudder really bad and the idle is rough when im at a red light or if im coming to a stop. Other than that the car works like a dream.. Its a 2000 Civic Dx Sedan 75k on its original D16Y7 motor. All regular maintenance has been done, so this is kinda boggling my mind as to why the CEL would come on randomly. Anyone have any ideas on this? please let me know. Thanks!

checking cels is the same way you check cels on your eg.. and installing your cd player isn't hard...just get the harness from wal-mart and woolaa your done

So I can use the OEM pocket? Or do I have to get the kit?
