why doesn't the Chicago FS thread just have a continuing, ongoing thread... like Minnesota

Default FS: 14" Steelies, Worn/New Winter Tires, Wheel Covers

FS: 14" Steelies, Worn/New Winter Tires, Wheel Covers

Wheels: 14" black steelies, 4x100 lug pattern. Good condition; have been using them on our 1994 Integra GS-R the past eight winters.

Tires: Three of the wheels have Bridgestone Blizzak MZ-02 winter tires, size 185/65-14. (The MZ-02 was the predecessor of the current Blizzak WS-50.) Two tires have 5/32" of tread remaining; the third has 4/32" of tread remaining. The fourth wheel has a flat tire that is not repairable. I am also including an extra, brand new Nokian Hakkapeliitta1 winter tire, also 185/65-14. You'll need to get the new tire mounted and balanced on the fourth wheel to replace the unrepairable tire.

Wheel Covers: Silver plastic. Fit over the wheel, do not need special lug nuts.

Recommendations: The steelies will fit any 2001 or earlier Integra (not Type R), Civic, del sol, or CRX. The tire size is a perfect match for any Integra or '96-00 Civic and will maintain the accuracy of the speedometer/odometer. You can also use them on earlier Civics, del sols, and CRXs, although they are about 3 percent larger in diameter than the stock tires for those cars and so the speedometer and odometer will read lower than otherwise by 3 percent.

Winter tires are designed to be at their best in the winter, on snow and ice and in frigid cold. You can use them in moderate to warm weather, but they may feel less responsive than summer tires in those conditions. However, winter tires are most effective when they have their full tread depth, so the three worn ones won't be anywhere near as effective in deep snow as new winter tires are.

Price: I will sell the whole package - the four wheels and tires, the extra new tire, and the wheel covers - for $100. I would prefer a local buyer, and can arrange for local pick-up in the Chicago area.

Contact me via IM.
