ok i started with a "B18c obd2" imported jdm into my delsol

and i bought a obd2a to obd1 converter
and i got the P72 obd1 ecu....
and i socketed it with a s300
and after some finicking with it... i have gotten it to work great.
datalogs and everything... but the car idles at 621 rpm and the original ecu idles at 1000
(621 if im gentle, will just plain die if i let go of gas)
I also noticed i have an iac error. is the ecu supposed ot have this error after being s300'ed? i clicked the "disable iac error" button in hondata so atleast i dont have a check engine light. but i dont like the fact its there. would the rest of hondata work and just not that 1 thing? doesnt make sence.

i can upload and download from the ecu perfectly. and as i said datalogging runs great.

IAC a big deal if i cant fix it? intake air control doesnt sound TOO bad to not have?
or is that related to switching from obd2 to obd1?

so many things being changed in this 1 upgrade. not sure if its even a problem.
i mean i can fix the idle with the physical idle control under the hood

plz any help is greatly appreciated. not going to drive on the new ecu till i know IAC isnt going to ruin my freshly imported engine.

turns out the ecu i bought off the marketplace was defective.
stupid lemons on the market place grrr

 

with a hondata s300 you can or could have checked the box. Disable IAC .. Located under the IAC settings.
