alright, i got a used injen intake, i put it on and realized it was the one for my car(00 civic) because there wasnt a place for the O2 sensor. So i then put my stock intake back on and plugged everything in. But when i put the stock back in my check engine light came on. Im thinking i broke my sensor...... anyone have any ideas?

 

well first thing your O2 sensor is on your exhaust manifold not your intake

 

ok then, then i think i might have broken what ever sensor is in the intake arm of a 00 civic.

 

thats the IAT(intake air temperature) sensor

how do u think u broke it?..pulled it too hard and un-wired it?

 

did you start ur car with the injen intake installed without the iat plugged in

if u did that
its no biggy
just pull the neg. on ur battery & reset it

if you wanna still use the injen just drill a hole for the sensor

cel's arent the end of the world...

 

sweet, just did it, and it fixed it. i tried drilling but i couldnt get a big enough drill.....
