heys guys, i have a 91 hatch, and i was driving tonight and the batter light came on and my dash lights and headlights dimmed right down, and the blower motor slowed... about 3 minutes later the light when off and shortly after that the light went bright and the blower motor speed up, another 5 minutes past and once again the ligth came on and the lights dimmed... do u guys have ne idea what is going on.... a shot maybe

probably your alternator is on its way out. happend to me my alternator died and the light came on. replaced the alt and the light went off. my suggestion dont take any long trips before you change it. if the light comes on, check you battery with a multi-meter and see if its still charging should read about 14v when its charging if its 13 or less you alt is not working.
