Battery light and E-brake light on.
I was riding the car when these came on.
The speed-o-meter also stop showing what speed I was going so VTEC also did not go on.
I know that this might be the altenator but, when I turn my switch to IGN1 the oil light and everything goes on normal but, as soon as I put down my E-brake the BATTERY light goes on and the e brake light stays on but, they go in very dimmed.
this happens also when the car is running.
What can this be?
I have a new battery and the altenator is not so old either.
(Can this be a ECU problem?)

Re: Battery light and E-brake light on.
I would recommend getting your alternator checked to see that it
is charging the system, and also check your VSS (start by checking
the connection).

Same thing happened to me. Those lights came on when I was at a stop light or dirve through, when their was more radiant heat under the hood. Turns out one of my fans (a fal fan) quit working and the turbo was creating to much heat for the alternator. Ended up having to replace the alternator. No probs since (knock on wood), its been 4 years. So if your having heat problems solve that first otherwise you'll keep goin through alternators.
