I've seen this Arospeed floor bar in mags and other publications.



Now I'm all for a rigid car, strut bars and all, I just wanna know if this floor bar actually helps to stiffen up the chassis or if it is all show? My limited knowledge tells me it will stiffen up that part of the car, but does that part of the car need to be stiffened up?

I think they're the makers of the front mount intercooler-look CAI (whomever thinks this is a good idea is a ricer) and BOV-style air filter. And they have a blue header. I'd have to say all of their products are ricer crap.

The intercooler look air intakes are a wonderful idea if you want to drive in the rain and hydrolock your motor.

 

Actually, they come with a little plastic piece that mounts on the front of it. And supposedly, when you go racing, you remove it.

The guys on Shadetree mechanic put that intake, header and exhaust on a D15 Civic, and gained a wopping 8whp

 

The blue headers make no sense, the paint comes of the first time you start it.
