High idle and CEL after firing up the car this morning...
When I turned on my car this morning I threw a CEL and the idle was holding steady at 1500k. No surge. Put the key to position 1 and 2 and it didnt flash any codes. Turned the car back on and threw the CEL again. I then reset the ecu and that still didnt resolve the problem.
I turned the motor off when it was warmed up after driving for a few minutes and the CEL dissappeared. The idle was a bit surgy but smoothed out in a minute. The car ran fine until I went into partial boost and threw another CEL. I turned the car off and back on. Of course the CEL dissappeared.
BTW, I'm running a chipped p28 tuned with Crome Pro on my '01 GSR. Can anyone shed some insight on the problem? I had overheating problems at the track yesterday. TIA
