Default ((DA OVERHEATING))

i changed the thermostat about 1 month ago and the thing has been running great.....today i was at McDondalds drive thru and i notice that the temp gauge was a little bit past the halfway mark, as i stayed in the line for a long time the temp gauge was going up slowly , then as i drove away the temp gauge was going back to the normal tempature, then when i stopped again it starting getting hot again ? what could this be? the radiator cap?
thanks for reading~!!

If the fans not working than looks like you need to buy a new fan motor or the whole shabang.

my friend said it might jus be the relay ? how do i check the relay?
and where is it? is it the one on top of the radiator w/ the two wire because i think the other end is going to the motor?

if its the motor and not the relay can i use a motor from a civic radiator or somthing?

da integra's have a mysterious fan problem, sometimes they work, sometimes they dont... i remedied the problem by running a toggle switch and running my fans all the time after the car warms up...
probly not the answer your looking for, but just an FYI....

i haven't had my DA for long , but if its like most honda's there should be a thermo switch (should be on the thermostat housing) which tells the fan when to come on at a certain temp.
