Default H.I.D. kit for prelude ...

is philips HID kit the best overall? could someone gimme an approximate price 4 it? if not which other brand r good? why is that?

thx 4 opinions...

None of those kits are good, the stock halogen housing cannot hold all the light of a true HID bulb. You'll be blinding other drivers and getting pulled over. The only safe way of doing it is to put a projector in the stock housing to get you the right beam pattern from an HID bulb. There's a group buy on preludeonline.com right now, which I'm in on. It gets you the projectors, the bulbs, the ballast and installation for $640 installed. You lights will be OEM quality, identical to a BMW 3 series with HID. This is quite a deal since installation takes 8 hours. If interested search for "HID groupbuy" in the classifieds over there.
