Default Tein spring change

I currently have a 92vx with Tein HA coilovers from a ITR and i belive they are 8/7 spring rates.

I would like to increase the spring rate since im running no sway bars.

Im thinking around a 10/9 setup over the 8/7.

the car handles very nice right now but i feel it would benifit from a slightly stiffer spring rate.

Does anyone know where i can get a new set of Tein or other good quality springs,

and does anyone have a suggestion for a good spring rate that is stiffer than the current 8/7

i like my car to handle very neutral with a slight taste of oversteer when needed at the limits, which is somewhat like it is right now.

get a comptech rear sway bar tie bar combo and high enough rates, the rear will whip out with ease.

In theory, Ground control Custom rates could be your solution. But I wouldn't know if they are the same diameter or if they would even fit into the tein shock body.

I'd keep the rates where they are and get a rear sway bar. I'm running essentially the same rates (450/400) and with he rear ITR bar the rear will step out at will

To change out the Tein's:

What spring options do we have? Do we have to use tein's springs, or will others fit?

I'm looking to decrease my front spring rate as I feel it's overly stiff for the street - and I've been wanting to do this for a while now... I think it's about 750f/550r right now, I was just going to swap it down to about 550/550 all around, and run a bigger rear-sway.

when I had the tein flex, the spring inner diameter was ~2.75". Most aftermarket springs, like the ERS that GC sells are 2.5" ID, so they wouldn't fit, which sucked, because that size spring is hard to find on the used market. So you pretty much have to order new ones from Tein, unless you get really lucky.

I'm not sure if the HA's use the same size spring though.

Yup. Plus you are stuck with their springs and lack of rates available. 2.5" ID should just be universal
