i had a friend put down 160whp and 120ft lbs with an LS.
JG 301 cams and some head work. i think he spent something like 1500-2000 after labor and tuning.

My boy got his car tuned to the sum of 170 and 135 ft/lbs. Whitfield Racing tuned on CROME PRO. Gude head and Cams with some CP pistons(81 mm) and Peak rods. Pretty fun.

I'd say you'll pretty much definitely top 150. I got 157 out of a B20B with a P8R head and Crower 403s, and my bottom end is pretty beat.

i just got done building a ls wit p30 pistons 404 cams blox intake manifold arp rod bolts 4-1 header. i just got done hanging it last saturday and finishing hopefully this weekend im hoping for 160-170 hp
BFTD. I am just starting project 180whp NA B18a. It is going in my 90 si. Here is what I have so far:
B18a block, all stock right now
brand new p73 ITR pistons
ARP studs
LS head, with:
Crower springs and retainers
Crower stage 2 cams
mild P&P
Blox IM
shaved .030
JDM CTR 4-1 header
What I need/plan on buying:
ACL bearings
ARP rod bolts
Hondata IM gasket
larger Tbody
some other things I can't think of right now

I'm in the process of building a b20z. I have a "HYTECH" header, Skunk2 IM, 2.25 exhaust, and i'm picking up a DHR Ported and Polished head, Brian Crower Stg.2, with valvetrain, AEBS TB. And i'm also going to use a 2 LAYER HEADGASKET. I'm hoping for mid 160-170, with a dyno tune.

wow i thought this thread was dead haha but i dont think im gunna be riping apart the motor im gunna do like a max out the externals thing....start with a b20 and get b16 tranny, keep obd1, blox IM, hondata IM gasket, edlebrock proflo header, 65mm TB, gsr-oil/water pump, gsr timing belt, hondata s200, password jdm CF intake, single dual core rad, exedy clutch/flywheel, 2.5" open exhaust, 2-layer head gasket, put my milled/resurfaced pnp with 3angle valve job head on and then call it a day
