Whats a good exhaust system for an EX, and who out there right now makes a exhaust system for a EX?

there are a few on the market.
If you want something decent and nice

why not get an SI oem axleback OR HFP muffler

 

I didnt know that an SI axle back would fit on an EX. Does it do anything for the sound and/or performance of the car, I know that an exhaust system doesnt do much for the performance to begin with but would the SI exhaust help out?

I'm not looking to have a ricey sounding car, I have an AEM CAI on it already and that is almost enough of a sound for me. I'm looking at mostly just small bolt on performance parts. Any help would be appreciated.

As for performance and sound... not really sure.
I dont think anyones dyno'd that combo yet.
Si exhaust "flows" pretty well.

 

So will any axle back exhaust for the SI fit on and EX or only the OEM one?

I'm going to "guess" yes. since the si and ex are interchangeable

now... do most places SELL axlebacks...no

however... if your really interested in an aftermarket unit
and want to get an Si one..

let me know.. if you get a decent company, i'll buy the midpipe off you for a project

I'm redoing my catback exhaust on my Si eventually with a setup i had on an older civic.

 

there is one by magnaflow. i think its custom. i have yet to hear a sound clip although my friend, that i havnt seen since he got his exhaust, has one.

I found, Honda Civic Si DC Sports Axle Back Exhaust and GReddy DT MUFFLER - Full Stainless-Steel Axle-Back Exhaust. If you've heard anything about either of these two let me know, I'm leaning toward the DC Sports system, but its up in the air right now.

If those 2 are your choices...

I'd pick up the HFP exhaust , get a honda warranty with it and fitment will be perfect
