drop it on your foot and find out.

actually, the best thing to do, is ask your tuner what he thinks.

all motors are different according to wear and tear, etc. do a compression and leakdown test, install the turbo setup, the fuel management, take it to the tuner, and let him decide what to do.

i feel its a safer bet than asking someone on honda-tech.

ive heard of people with over 300whp with a stock ls turbo setup bud personialy i wouldint trust it that much as a daily driver

ls turbo setups are usualy pretty strong and realiable between 230-250whp with around 200wtq

I've seen lots of factory cranks hold up to right under 500 horsepower. Not the rods though.

Honda factory cranks can take a lot of power. 600+hp isn't a problem.

I have been beating on mine at 242whp for 8 months now... no problems, passed a compression check last month. Most people can get away with 300whp reasonably.

Yah you never hear problems with honda's cranks, since their pretty strong, but i have heard about the crank pulley bolt breaking off in the end of the crank so be careful!, lol.

I made 327/258 on complete bone stock LS (From Tb to Oil Pan)

I cracked a sleeve due to insuffiecient fuel but the rods or pistons never cracked. (When i pulled the head off they were still holding compression)

I've seen alot of stock ls turbo's start popping around 9+ psi on a homemade kit and 12+ on a good kit like rev hard. All the motors that popped were either do to the slevees cracking and getting destroyed or the piston cracks and gets destroyed, From what I've seen it really depends on the tune. The good kits come with a great tune and the junkyard specials are tough to tune because of all the varitables, But as far as the crank and even the rods to a certin extent like everyone else said are preety good.

Its all in the tuning dude. Doesn't matter who made the kit, as long as it doesn't creep and it is tuned it should be plenty reliable.
