Repairing front bumper?
Hi, I hope this is the right forum for this question.I recently had an incident with hydroplaning and spinning into road sign. The impact sheared off the area from right below the lights down and the rest of the driver side where the wheel wheel is of the front bumper. I was planning to repair it because the bumper was sheared off a line and not jagged at all.I plan to take off the bumper and use something to attach it from the back, then sand the front, add body filler compound stuff, then sand agian.
Now the question is what is the best way to reattach the pieces? Would that bondo stuff be alright?Or is there a better way to do it? Thanx.

I would suggest using some sort of epoxy to bond them together so that you use alsmost no bondo/body filler. The bondo and the urethane bumper expand and contract at different rates and would have a higher chance of cracking
So I guess i should look for a special kind of epoxy for this project? That sounds alot better than bondo.Although i know ill have to use some body filler, There is a 50cent piece sized dent in the very front of the bumper that will need it.
Some heat and a little force will help push out that dent in the bumper and I know that they sell some sort of epoxy for bumpers.I cant remember the name though sorry
