ls/vtec or JDM b16

which is better..... i want to put it into a 95 teg, i have a B16 already, but not sure if i want to go through the hassle of tearing down and rebuilbing the engine. what is my best choice

The 1st gen b16, old school? If so, get the LSVTEC.

it is supposed to be a 1st gen b16, but the valve cover is the same as the 2nd gen, so i am not sure, how can i check to be sure???
