crx corner light?!!
ok i got an 89 crx with 90-91 headlights, i need new corner lights, do i need 90-91 corner lights also or does it go by the body of the car because i kno the fenders are different right? so in order to fit properly do i go with 89- corner lights or 90-91 corner lights? some one please help me out here
i dont know what the fitment would be like but the 88-89 crxes had screws in the fenders to hold the markers in and the 90-91 crxes have one screw on the headlight and 2 clips on the fender i dont know what yoru best bet would be but i hope that helps... id just get the 88-89 and just screw them in and zip tie them to the headlights... a little ghetto but whatever lol

The real diference is that the 88-89 corner lense have 2 screws that attach the lenses to the fender from the outside, while the 90-91 corner lenses have 2 screws that attach on the inner fender next to the headlight. So you will need the corner lense for the year of your fender, so in your case you need a 88-89 corner lense, because you don't have the inner fender peice to attach 90-91 corners. Hope this helps.
Plus I've found that 88-89 corners have better fitment than the 90-91 because of their attachment point........the 88-89 just sit more flush.

the 90-91 corners will fit, but you will need to replace the 'screw-in' clips on the fender with the 90-91 'slide in' style clips. also, you will need the 90-91 headlight brackets since the 88-89 doesnt have the spot where the screw on the 90-91 corners screw into.

Okay, if I need to replace a bulb in this corner lens, I have to remove the entire bumper?</TD></TR></TABLE>
No, you take out the screw above the headlight (in the other picture above) and the corner slides forward.
The plastic piece in the picture you quoted holds the bumper. Nothing to do with the corner light.
To go to 90-91 corners on an 88-89 you have to replace the headlight bracket along with those clips in the bag above. Believe me, i've tried. Stupid 91 HF has 1 88-89 headlight and 1 90-91

Well to bring this back, Its simple!!
When my 91 crx needed a new corner light i soon realized the fender was replaced with an 88-89 fender. I wanted to go projector so i bought 90-91 projector headlights and 90-91 corner lights. I went to honda and picked up 2 black clips so the 90-91 corner can slide into them rather than the 88-89 which it screws into.
Simple, those black clips are your friends
By the way, The projectos came with frame and all. Simple bolt in. I took out the 88-89 clip in fender and used it in the headlight frame to screw in the top of the 90-91 corner light.
