i Have a 95 civic ex manual transmission. Every thing in the cluster works good until one day the Speedometer just stop working. But Sometimes when it feels like working it works but only for a few seconds only and dies. I have switched cluster in my boys car and it works perfect but acts up in mine. Does any one know what it could be.

 

check VSS. on the top of the tranny by firewall, sounds like it's loose

wrd i have the same problem now in my 92 hatch i can't find wut's wrong.
it just works when it wants to.
