i have been having a problem thaugth to be my distributor im now leaning towards the ecu, is there any sure way to check the ecu to know it is bad? also does anyone have or no where i can buy a new pw0 ecu to replace mine?

what kind of problem? but the ecu should blink once when the ignition is turned on then stay off. You can pull the passangers carpet down to see the red led.

 

car wont start and is throwing code 8, tested tdc circuit is good how do u know if your ecu is junk?

 

ask someone you know with ef with the same engine as you to lend theres..or go to a junk yard and get an ecu...

 

i havent been able to find any ecus at a junk yard what so ever. and i do not know anyone else with a b16 swap( none my firends are honda guys i started my love for cars with my 88 camaro iroc-z, just recently in few months becoming a honda lover..lol) but yea i do need to try and find a obd0 pwo ecu if anyone has one for sale.

 

do you know any importers near you? because where i live there are tons of them

yea i would try and save the honda dealer for last resort, probly going to cost me 500$ if i go to them. also the closest honda dealer is slightly over an hour drive.

 

then. it would be a matter if they had them, my honda dealer dont carry a lot of things anymore. all the freaggin parts are discontinued

 

yea i wish i knew where to get one i need my car i've been searching but no luck except used ebay junk.
