If you paid them to tell you that it MAY be the ecu, i would tell them to give me my money back. That's not a diagnosis that's BS. Ask them what happens if you buy a brand new ecu from the dealer and it doesn't solve the problem, will you get your money back for the ecu? What's your reoccuring problem in the first place?

Its probably not the ecu, honda ecus dont go bad that offten there are alot of other things that would go bad before the ECU would like anything inside the distributor, the fuel pump, sensors, ect. There is a way to check, if you have a steady check engine light when you try to pull a code its your ecu.

it throws a cel for the iacv and both 02 sensors, never do these come up seperately, always all at once. when the code comes up, the car stalls, dies, and then wont restart. however, if you wait long enough, and re-start the car, it runs fine, and the codes are gone. it wont even save them in a history which is why they think the computer is bad. when you shutoff the car and restart it, it gets rid of any previous codes by itself.

the iacv and the 02 sensors were replaced 2 weeks ago as well, they checked on those specific parts and said they are functioning as they are supposed to

Could be bad wiring on the IACV then it trips the 2 O2 sensor codes after the ecu detects the faulty IACV code.

I've thrown 3 or 4 codes before, always try and fix the first code, the rest sometimes clear up after the 1 code is fixed.

Could be wiring, Id suggest getting a second ecu and swapping them out....probably the cheapest option.
