2.2litre single cam and h23??
i just want to know how much of a difference there is between the 2.2 litre (the single cam one with no vtec) and the h23 i know for sure that the h23 has 160hp and 2.2 got 135 but is it rly noticable? and also if i take my h23 out would the 2.2 fit right in or would i have to do some adjusting and ****.. ?
i dont think it is worth the hassle (if its even possilbe) to put H23 cam into an F22 engine to try and pick up power........
buy a turbo or get an H22
The F22/H23/H22 all bolt in fine to each other..... but the wire harness and the ECU will take some work.

dude read what i wrote. MY h23 is toast. its dead. done. finished. do u understand??
i found a good deal on a 2.2 engine so i want to take my h23 out, put that 2.2 in my car so i can drive it.

if you go from an H23 to an F22, there will be a big diff....... massive trq diff and massive hp diff...... if you can feel a 5 hp diff mod.... think of the diff you will feel with a 25 hp drop in power.....

i understand chill out. Depends on how u drive your lude after having the h23 your not really going to like the f22. Your prolly asking cuz u can get it the cheapest. but if your looking for more power and fun go with another h23 or spend a bit more and git a h22.
If I was in your situation, I would get the F22 engine and swap it in stock. See how you like it. If you decide you want more power, then I would save for a turbo kit. You don't have to go with crazy boost or anything either.
The F22 is overlooked....so you might as well take advantage of it and pick one up since no one wants them and they can be had for next to nothing. This will be the cheapest option. You will be able to keep up/beat Preludes with H22s....for less money than they paid for their stock swap!!
Yes, the engine swaps right in without any modifications needed.
Also, some people said the F22 is slower than the H23....but remember that the F22 is mated to a tranny that has longer gears. If you use your H23 tranny, the difference won't be as noticeable.
