coilovers question
whats good for a daily driver. I just want some feedback. I've never driven in any kind of coil-overs, only in some springs with stock shocks. For 97 accord.
1. Function n Form
2. Ksport
3. Tein SS
4. Ground Control w/ kybagx
5. Ground Control w/ koni yellow
I've searched and read for about a month. still don't know which ones better...you can call me indecisive. HAHAH

1. I have no experience with Function and Form, so...
2. Have heard decent things, but don't really know much about them.
3. Tein SS has fairly soft spring rates, so the ride will be pretty comfortable. Good only if your car does not see track time.
4. Not as common as #5 (but very similar). I don't see a problem with this setup.
5. My personal choice. Proven reliability and quality. Spring rates are stiffer than the Tein SS, but it's not too bad. Good for daily drivers that also see track time.

I prefer them in that order:
Tein SS
GC/Yellows
I dont have any other experience w/ the rest of them.
if you search you can find a **** load of more info

tein SS then...
tein SS then...
this is how my drop is like now...on Neuspeed Race (yellow 2" drop) with stock shocks that rides really shitty. Should i stick with it, save money and jus replace to some tokico or kyb agx shocks?
the front has a 2 finger gap and the rear has a 3 finger gap...

well, you can't have everything, you want it to handle you can't slam that thing on the ground and expect somehow the car will not ride on bumpstop, lift the wheel because there's a slight bump on the road.
yeah, honda looks cool slammed but it's just not functional. unless it's a track car that only will be raced on the glass smooth surface.
don't fool yourself you can have best of both world by stuffing the best/badest/most jdm coilover in them, it doesn't happens.
SORRY for the lecture
SS is overrated
i have no experience with the rest except Koni+yellow, that's a great combo there

GC/Koni is always a good choice.
But personally all my friends have the Function Form setup and they work great.
I'm picking up some early Jan 07'... I'll let you guys know the results.
