i want to put some new outer boots on my axles but i cant take apart the axle someone help me please

 

ALl you need to do is cut the old bands off that are holding the boot on, clean out the joint, start to slide a new boot with new bands over the clamp lands, fill it with grease, (make sure the new grease goes all the way into the joint, and tighten the clamps...

 

from my experience with these miserable bastards , rebuilding them is a pain. but , you have to take everything off the tranny end. so in order to put a boot on the spindle end of the axle , it must go on the tranny end. good luck. PS the rubber balancer on the middle , dont cut it off , it hammers(slides) off. spray lube.
