on my driver side door my handle thing is broken so i have to pull and push the metal bar to unlock and lock it but i was planning on getting a remote lock kit and i heard that they had this clip thing that does it for non powered lock cars and i was wondering if my handle was broken could i still get that remote lock kit or not?

 

remote lock kit will still work.
your lock works when door is closed not open.
Every honda ive seen does that, you must pull the lever then lock

 

no no no not like that i know what your talking about but my door handle is broken and inside the door panel theres a little metal bar that broke off and i have to manually like pull that little metal bar and push in left or right ot unlock and lock
