Default 2 questions.... have searched SWAP dizzy Alternator

Okay so im doing a b18b in my 98 civic with plans to go lsvtec later.
Well all goes well full bore, most parts purchased but i have to be careful as this is my daily driver.
Here we go

1)What is the diff. between OBD2 non vtec Dizzy from D to B series??? They seem to bolt up the same and plug in the same!

2)People are saying that the D series Alternator wont fit a B18 motor. I know amperage is lower and charge cable is moved but it seems the same to me!

Thanx guys, I think this could help other people
