Default Having some problems launchin

Hi guys I took my 2000 Integra LS to the track last night and I was having some trouble launchin, I dont have too much power currently and the tires are spinning for some reason. I think its because of my master cylinder, it is Omni Power the reduced clutch, my clutch travel is literally about 2.5 inches, maybe less thats how much there is to push down.
Here is a complete list of all my current mods:
AEM Short Ram Intake
Skunk 2 Intake man/70 mm throttle body + OBX throttle body spacer
Unorthodox Lightweight pulley set
Greddy Headers
Greddy catback Evo2
Random Tech hi flow cat
B&M Short Throw shifter
Omni Power Master Cylinder
Exedy Stage 1 Clutch
Fidanza 7.5 lb flywheel
GSR Tranny
B18B1 block

In a few weeks my head and engine will be at the machine shop, I will be adding the following:
Wiseco 81 MM low comp pistons
Golden Eagle Rods
Crower Stage 2 camshafts
Crower Valve Springs+Retainers
Ferrea Valves
Port n polished LS head
Darton Sleeves

Hondata with boost option

After the engine work is complete I will be putting a T3/T4 turbo kit.

So if you guys can help me currently as to why I am running so bad (17.5+ in 1/4 mile) launchin problems please help
Also if you can estimate how well I will run after all my mods are installed (of course I will have drag slicks by then) please let me know that too, thanks

you will have even more problems with traction after the turbo i suggest putting in stiffer mounts or even inserts also getting a traction bar.

how high are you launching? are you dumping the clutch or slipping it? what tires and at what psi do you have them at?

Im launchin it at around 3000-4000 i even tried 2500-2750 and still its not perfect. I also have custom mounts that are really strong and a ingalls torque damper. I am dumping the clutch, the tires are kumho with 17 inch rims maybe thats the problem? They are at about 35 psi.

What traction bar do you suggest that actually sounds like a really good idea, can you please link me the best one in your opinion that is race proven? Thanks

hehe yea, wait till u get the turbo.. u'll be like damn why was i complaining?

Wierd that ur spinning so much, my gsr without the turbo , i could slip it @ like 6k and get a hardcore launch. Now, not so much, i'd have to launch in 3rd.

At least ur not running 18's with ur turbo, then that would suck ;D my 1st turbo'd run i ran a 15, that was kinda embarassing. Deff try diff ways of launching, maybe it is the omni thats making it a little hard for you to slip it. Try to back off the throttle a bit, u'll get it eventually.. I got my et down to 13 @ 120, shitty dunlops, and stock mounts.

Ok I just placed an order on the Full Race traction bar @ 367 bucks shipped... I also have Tien Springs with Tokico shocks. If possible can you guys PLEASE link me a rim + tire package that will give me the best grip on the road that is street legal? I will get drag slicks later but for now I really want nice lightweight rims (16 lbs or less each) for driving on the street I will get 2 drag slicks later. So if you can PLEASE link me a set of 4 rims and REALLY good tires that will give better performance link me. It will be better if it is a lightweight rim + tire package. Thanks!!!

for rims i like the ssr type c in 15x6 from http://www.tirerack.com . they only weigh 8.8lbs each. paired with bfg drag radials up front, you wont have any problems hooking up.

I really think you should work on your times some more before you go out buying even more stuff. You have a good amount done and to run a 17.5, that's rough. I ran a 16.7 in my bone stock LS with **** tires, I wasn't even really launching it at all, just basically pulling out normal then hitting the gas hard. and even my 16.7 isn't a good time.
