Default Oil leak

So my mom told me today there is a bunch of oil spots in the drive way, so today I go out and take a look.. no noticeable leaks.. So I pulled back the car and theres a fresh oil spot.. its still pretty wet too. Its dark brown-nish and very dirty. Scooted under the car with a rag and whipped down wet spots and same nasty brown color. I checked my oil and its VERY low.. We just changed the oil 3-4 weeks ago. Should I take it to the shop to see if they can pinpoint the oil leak? Does this mean my H23 is gonna be in the trash soon? blah

which side is the oil leaking from? Which ever side it's leaking from, then we can probably help you out a little bit more to let you know what the problem is

Its leaking more on the driver side of the car. It never leaked before untill I took it to the freaking local jiffy lube to get a oil change.

*Edit*

I think its coming from the drain plug.. by the looks of it the oil stains are directly under it. I had a hard time finding the right size socket to tighten it, what size is it? Would I need to torque it?

First things check they've tightened your oil filter correctly, and your sump drain plug is firmly fastened and the washer is in place on the plug. Probably they didn't secure everything properly when they changed the oil. But you won't have any damage, just top the oil up to correct level before you drive, once you fix the leak. If you can't do it take back to the shop & have them check it out.

do what britishdude suggested, but if everything checks out okay, then you may need a new front main seal or possibly a new oil pan gasket
